Mayor Erhard Poggemiller was first elected as Councilor in a 1999 Bi-Election and was elected as Mayor in the 2000 Municipal General Election. Mayor Poggemiller held the Mayor’s seat until 2006 and was re-elected in a Bi-Election in 2010 as the Mayor of the Town of Kerrobert. Served four years on the SUMA Board and also served on the SARC Board and the Provincial Regional Waste Management.

Mayor Poggemiller was educated at the University of Saskatoon and S.I.A.S.T. receiving an Industrial Teaching Certificate and taught for several years, then purchased his own business which he is still operating to date.

Mayor Poggemiller served on the Board of Prairie West Community College in Biggar, became Board Chair after several years and was a founding Board member for S.I.A.S.T. Ran for election for Prairie West Health District, was a Board member for several years before being elected as Board Chair, and was appointed to the Regional Health for two terms.

Mayor Poggemiller is married to Eveyln for 35 years and they have three children.
