Shane Kolenosky
Councilor
Shane was raised on a family Farm near Landis Saskatchewan with three younger Sisters. He graduated Landis high school in 1993 and started working for the Landis Co-op as a tire technician and mechanic for a couple years. An opportunity came up in 1995 with the United Grain Growers in Landis to operate a High Clearance Sprayer during the summer and work in the elevator during the winter loading cars and dumping grain trucks. He is still with that company today even though it has changed names several times over the years through all the mergers of the grain companies. Work brought him to this town when the company bought Kerrobert Agro here in Kerrobert and Green Acres in Major. After a couple years of commuting from Kindersley Shane, Larissa and their two children Jerzy and Chase decided to move to Kerrobert in 2009. They immediately felt welcome here and that this was going to be a great community to raise their children in.
Shane looks forward to working with this council and to do what he can to assist in the momentum we have in making positive changes to help Kerrobert grow and bring new people into this wonderful community. He would like to thank the community for giving him this opportunity to be on council.
