Councilor Monika Knorr was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta.  

She went to Archbishop O'Leary High School and graduated in 2006.   Went onto College at Olds College in Olds, Alberta and graduation in Fashion Marketing in 2008.   

She moved to Kerrobert in February 2010 and bought the Kerrobert Flower Shop.   

In 2011 she was voted in as President of the Kerrobert Chamber of Commerce.  In June 2011 she was voted in to be Councilor for the Town of Kerrobert.   Got married in August 2011 and is also involved in the Prairieland Players.
